CJ 0002 - CRIME, LAW, AND PUBLIC POLICY Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 An introduction to crime, criminal law, the administration of justice process, and public policy as it pertains to crime and justice. This is a prerequisite for all required administration of justice courses, but has also been developed as a survey for non-ADMJ majors. Subject matter includes an introduction to the study of crime, a description of the sources, purpose, and application of the criminal law, and an examination of the interplay of politics, the problem of crime, and the implementation of public policies.
