ECON 0130 - GLOBALIZATIONMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will cover a wide range of topics dealing with the rapid internationalization of the global economy. It will include a discussion of international trade theory and policy, the role of foreign direct investment, attempts at a regional economic integration, the foreign exchange market and the global monetary system, the role of multi nationals in the global marketplace and the related host country aspirations, and issues in relation to economies in various stages of transition.
