CJ 1518 - WHITE COLLAR CRIMEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will examine the offenses related to white collar crime and the differences between these types of deeds, crimes of opportunity and violent crimes. In addition, the unique nature of this criminal behavior and the actor's reliance on the victim to assist in the wrongdoing will be addressed. Attention to the role of law enforcement and the problems associated with the investigation of white collar crime will be discussed.
