ANTH 1070 - WORLD ETHNOGRAPHIESMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course covers some seminal classic and contemporary ethnographies produced by sociocultural anthropologists to represent various cultures of the world. It examines what culture is and does, as well as the work of anthropological ethnography. The course hinges on the concept of holism, in that cultures may be best understood in their entire contextual setting in time and space.
