PS 0802 - MUSIC FOR POLITICAL AND SOCIAL CHANGEMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will explore and analyze the evolution of music as a tool in the quest for change in the United States and the world as a whole. Students will be introduced to music and artists that have addressed social and political aspects of the United States such as civil rights, war, poverty, class, the environment, and other issues. The course will also examine how music has addressed international and global political issues.
