SOC 0009 - AMERICAN SOCIETYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course is designed around an examination of the country's traditional goals and ideals. We will explore those national purposes through the writings of major American figures and discuss whether or not the country has fulfilled those purposes. The course also explores the ways that America's diverse groups and social classes relate to each other.
