ENGLIT 0500 - INTRODUCTION TO CRITICAL READINGMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course studies three to five significant literary works in conjunction with influential criticism on each text. Students explore the uses and limits of different critical methods. The course seeks to develop a critical understanding of both classic literary texts and dominant modes of reading as changing cultural practices.
