ANTH 0582 - INTRODUCTION TO ARCHEOLOGYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course serves as an introduction to the discipline and methods of contemporary archaeology, interwoven with a brief survey of some of the most important turning points in the long human past. Lectures address archaeological methods for field and lab research, and cover selected theoretical questions in modern archaeology. Specific examples from sites around the world are used to illustrate these topics.
