BIOSC 1385 - ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTMinimum Credits: 4 Maximum Credits: 4 This course addresses areas of major environmental concerns after a foundation in selected ecological principles is established. The basic understanding of natural systems, including organism, population, community, and ecosystem ecology will be explored. Then current issues related to human population growth, natural resource use, and pollution will be examined using a global case study approach. Student discussion and writing concerning controversial issues will be stressed.
