BIOSC 1150 - HISTORY OF EVOLUTIONARY THOUGHTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will examine the theory, process and pattern of evolutionary change. The history of the change of thinking about evolution in society will be highlighted, with critical thinking skills being emphasized. This course will encompass both microevolutionary and macroevolutionary concepts. Lecture topics will include inheritance and variation, population genetics, natural selection, speciation, adaptation, the fossil record, and phylogenetics.
