INFSCI 1057 - LINUX OPERATING SYSTEMMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course provides an introduction to the use and administration of the Linux operating system. Operating system concepts will be covered as well as how Linux implements these concepts. We will explore the main areas of the operating system, including the file system, process execution in a multitasking, multi-user environment, and security functionality.
