This course will examine the Asian American theatre movement focusing on the major dramatic texts which make up this diverse artistic body of work, and on the important social and historical contexts that shape it. Attention will also be given to the flowering of Asian American arts in the areas of film, visual art and performance art in an effort to create an interdisciplinary arts perspective.
