This course aims to introduce students to Hispanic culture through the visual arts. It will discuss a diversity of topics related to historical, sociopolitical and institutional changes affecting contemporary life. Selected films, videos, and documentary pieces will be in English or in Spanish with subtitles. Class will be taught entirely in English.
