SPAN 0060 - LATIN AMERICAN FILM & LITRATURMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines contemporary works of renowned Latin American writers and focuses on discussing their aesthetic and socio-political concerns. The objective is to develop the students' critical reading and understanding of Latin American culture through its literature, and also to be able to contrast the literary texts and some of the films based on those books. Readings in English; videos in Spanish with subtitles, or in English.
