PSY 1040 - APPLIED SOCIAL RESEARCHMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course provides a practical introduction to quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis designed for upper-level students majoring in the social sciences, psychology, administration of justice, management, or applied mathematics. Students participate in one or more full-scale data collection projects using survey or interview data, and learn to collect, code, describe, interpret, and display their data using the statiew and SPSS computer packages.
