HAA 0130 - WOMEN IN ARTMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will investigate the various ways women have been portrayed in the visual arts, as well as how women artists have portrayed the world. Approaching the material chronologically, this course will select representations of women and female artists from antiquity through the 20th century, and examine both the contextual position of women in society and the artistic styles.
