HAA 0015 - ART APPRECIATIONMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course introduces students to the technical, aesthetic and historical aspects of architecture, sculpture, painting and drawing. Emphasis will be placed on analyses of the visual elements used in fine arts such as color, line, shape, texture and the principles of design. Students will investigate the purposes of art and visual communication, and develop a heightened sense of critical thinking that allows them to investigate different modes of representation, styles and media in a multicultural society.
