This course is a comparative historical and contemporary examination of race relations in a global context. We will examine patterns of race relations in us, Latin America, (Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador), Africa (s Africa), the Caribbean (Cuba, Trinidad, Guyana), and Indonesia, and explore how these patterns operate and interact both locally and globally.
