PHIL 1304 - POLITICS AND PHILOSOPHYMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Political philosophy is a branch of philosophy devoted to assessing the authority, legitimacy, and justification of various kinds of political arrangements. Key concepts will be investigated in this course, including justice, rights, laws, and personal/public property. We will focus on the work of such thinkers as Plato, Machiavelli, Rawls, and Nozick.
