HIST 1087 - WORLD WAR 2Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 Examines the Second World War as a global phenomenon, including the Eastern and Western fronts in Europe, the Sino-Japanese War, and the Pacific War. Covers the origins of conflict in the various theaters, the course of the war, and its consequences. While some attention is given to military strategy, emphasis is also placed on the social and political dimensions of the conflict.
