HIST 1615 - THE UNITED STATES DURING THE GILDED AGE & PROGRESSIVE ERA (1875-1920)Minimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will cover the technological, demographic, and ideological sources and character of economic growth during the gilded age (1875-1900) as well as the social and economic problems that American society experienced during the period. In addition, the course will focus on the attempts of reformers to rectify the nation's social and economic problems during the progressive era (1900-1920).
