ENGWRT 1175 - FICTION SEMINAR: FAMILIES AND SMALL TOWNSMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course examines the various and diverse ways that writers define the idea of "family." Equally varied are the small towns in which these stories take place: We may be in Flannery O'Connor's rural Georgia, or in Jhumpa Lahiri's suburban New England. Students will write and revise short stories that concern family matters and take place in small towns.
