CHEM 1461 - MOLECULAR MODELINGMinimum Credits: 3 Maximum Credits: 3 This course will provide a basic understanding of various methods used in molecular modeling computer programs and provide hands-on experience with several modeling programs. Background theory for various methods, including ab intio, semi-empirical, and molecular mechanics, will be discussed, and the techniques will then be used to examine chemical systems.
